Crystal Lake South High School is a public, four-year high school with enrollment of 1,850 students. Located approximately 45 miles
northwest of Chicago, the school serves the cities of Crystal Lake and Lake in the Hills.

Crystal Lake South offers a comprehensive curriculum and extracurricular activities to help students expand their academic and social skills, learn about themselves, engage in positive experiences, and be involved with community outreach. There are 24 different sports and more than 30 clubs and activities.

CLS is one of four high schools within Community High School District 155. In addition to South, the district includes Crystal Lake Central, Cary-Grove, Prairie Ridge and an alternative campus, Haber Oaks. The district serves approximately 6,750 students from
McHenry and Lake counties.
